The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, this morning attended the traditional Mass to mark the feast of San Anton, accompanied by Council Joaquín Moya-Angeler and María del Carmen Pelegrin, with the President of the Municipal Board, José Luis Vicente.
After the Eucharist, House has been present in the blessing of pets officiated by the pastor, Jorge Rodríguez García, at the door of the Hermitage of San Antón, which, as usual, have gathered many residents accompanied by their animals, especially dogs of different breeds.
After the Eucharist, the priest sprinkled holy water on all the parish gathered against animals, many of whom wore funny costumes, including costumes.
This afternoon at 19.30 Mass, sung by the choir of San Antón and Rondalla of the rock "The Shaker" will be held.
A second blessing, and then the transfer will take place in procession of the image of San Anton to the parish will be used.
