The Socialist Party demands that the Department of Decentralization is operated by the Treasury (16/01/2014)

Councilwoman Andrea Garries asked in writing to the mayor Isabel Martinez Conesa all information relating to the management of the Parish for the past five years and ask the legal services of the City Council a report on the legality of the actions carried out in the council that directs Christopher Smith

The Municipal Socialist Group requires immediate intervention of the Department of Decentralization by the Economy and Finance to exercise control of their financial transactions, following revelations by a regional newspaper of irregularities in the awarding of contracts in districts carried out from the council which directs Christopher Smith.

Also, the mayor Andrea Garries ask the City Council's legal services for a report on the legality of the proceedings in this council and request in writing to the council of finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, all documents relating to the management of Municipal Boards over the past five years.

Likewise, the Socialist Group reports that, through their legal services, consider whether there is evidence of crime in the awarding of contracts in districts.

Thus the PSOE Councillor again demanding the mayor Chamber immediately stop the mayor of Decentralization, Christopher Smith, for these alleged irregularities during the years 2011 and 2012 until the facts are clarified.

"The local government can not stand idly by in this type of situation the only thing that is causing discomfort among citizens on the bad image that the City Council continues to transmit sufficiently tarnished by allegations of corruption that Justice is still investigating" terminates.
