The municipal group of IU-Greens in the city of Murcia has reported today that the restoration of the old stairs to the botanical garden of the Malecon are paralyzed for days.

Councilman training session Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, has indicated that these works were approved at a council meeting held last November 27, 2013, with a deadline of one month.

"Even the government team went on to make public before the end of the year would be over," said Tornel, who has said that, however, "the ladder is now removed and a trench is observed only in the place."

The mayor noted that "as the approved project had the hue of Phase I, we do not think that the work done so far has cost 26,000 euros to the public budget."

In this regard, he added that his local group does not understand the delay in completion of the works, and has said that if he had to make another contract to complete them "we are talking about a heavy and unacceptable joke."

He has also expressed concern that may have affected this performance for the ficus macrophylla, because a large root has been cut and can lead to problems for awesome tree by its size.
