A doctoral thesis of a professor at the University of Murcia win one of the prizes of the House of Representatives (08/01/2014)

The doctoral thesis "Male parenthood: A pop-familiar form in Spanish society," the professor of the University of Murcia Avilés Manuela Hernandez won the award of the Congress of Deputies in the specialty of Political Science and Sociology.

The work of Manuela Avilés, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Murcia, was led by Professor of this educational institution Carmina Pérez Pérez and defended at the University of Alicante, where he completed his doctorate.
