Support for graduates of the Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia in the process of professionalization is the object of the agreement signed today by the Association of Biologists of the Region and the educational institution.
The initiator of the agreement, the dean of that faculty, José Meseguer, highlighted during the signing ceremony that it is important to have the support and coverage of the College from the professional point of view, since it has the regulatory capacity to defend the interests of biologists.
The Dean of the College, Jorge Costa, after mentioning that most colleges are from the Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia, stressed that plasma is officially a collaboration between the two entities has maintained for years, addition to ensuring continuity and empowerment.
Meanwhile, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, has used his speech to make a defense of professional bodies, of which say are needed to bring together the different professions and structure the country.
The chancellor concluded by praising the dynamism and research activities of the Faculty of Biology.
The event, held at the headquarters of the Senate, has also benefited from the presence of the vice-chancellors and Manuel María Ángeles Esteban Vidal, the Deputy Dean of Biology Alfonsa García and the Dean of the College, Herminio Picazo.
