IU-Green says the Local Government Reform "will cut essential public services" (12/12/2013)

The spokesman for IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that the reform of the local administration of the central government, "especially detrimental to the public and will cut essential public services."

Herguedas was speaking against the session while participating in the rally called against that reform, together with the coordinator of IU-Greens in Murcia, Francisco Muñoz and Council of Antonio López de Segura Molina and Francisco Vicente.

For his part, the head of Municipal Policy IU-Greens in the Region of Murcia, José Luis Alvarez-Castellanos, said that the law "is a coup in the making and involved a radical model of local government proposed in the Constitution. "
