The Socialist Group reaffirms its commitment to the traditional trade of Murcia and districts (30/11/2013)

Councillors Pedro Lopez and Andrea Garries remember during a visit to the Outlet Fair trade is a key sector in the municipality of Murcia and claim the PP initiatives to refloat sink after filling the city with shopping centers

The councilors of the Socialist Group, Pedro Lopez and Andrea Garries, this morning visited the Fair Outlet Beniaján in order to reiterate the support of the PSOE to the traditional trade, a sector especially punished "not only in the center, also in the districts by the policy of building large shopping centers developed by the People's Party.

Accompanied by socialists vowels in the Municipal Board, the socialist deputies have traveled the twenty stands installed in the Garden of Monteazahar by Beniaján Merchants Association.

The socialist mayor recalls that "the consequences of this policy has major projects in PP especially detrimental to small shops, places of supplies and street markets that are much more than places to buy, because you have to understand them as spaces linked the evolution and identity of a town where social relationships are fostered. "

Finally, Garries and Lopez have also visited the Volunteer Fair II Beniaján highlighting the importance of the great work being done by social NGOs participating in the town of Murcia.
