The Paradise Cinema initiative, which involved the Cinema Hall of the University of Murcia, screened on Monday, December 2, "Paradise: Faith" ("Paradies: Glaube"), part of the controversial trilogy with the Ulrich Seidl has shocked the public and critics worldwide.
In this case the film focuses on religion and Annamaria tells the story of a devout hospital technician.
It is a co-production between Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany, and is starring Maria Hofstatter, Nabil Saleh, Natalya Baranova and to Rene Rupnik.
The film won last year in Venice with the Special Jury Prize.
Critics have said of it: "A masterful triptych (...) an ambitious and exemplary (...) set a masterclass in how to look otherness without paternalism or condescension." (Jordi Costa: Diario El País).
The film will be screened in original version subtitled in Spanish, in cinemas Centrofama sessions 17:30, 20 and 22:30 pm for the price of 4 euros for the general public and 3 for university.
