"Continued neglect in the Southern Cordillera" (27/11/2013)

The socialist mayor José Zapata Andrea Garries and defend in plenary on Thursday several motions asking the PP to solve some of the shortcomings that are plunging into disrepair and neglect the districts of the Southern Cordillera.

Accompanied by socialist spokesmen in the Parish Beniaján Algezares, San Jose de la Vega and Los Dolores, Manuel Espinosa, Pepe Torosa Martin Osuna and Antonio Vidal respectively Garries reported that the Socialist Group in plenary will require local PP not drown most citizens districts and resolve once and for all and fair historical claims.

Thus the PSOE mayor asked to carry out the necessary actions for a project for the creation and construction of a Comprehensive Center and Multipurpose in Beniaján hosting the popular school library and is developed and various spaces the more than 35 groups and associations that exist in the district.

Garries recalls that in the summer of 2012 the library and popular school was closed due to a water leak in the building and since then more than 70,000 users from the districts of Cañadas de San Pedro, Stables, Los Ramos, Torreagüera, Beniaján San José de la Vega, Los Garres, Algezares and Santo Angel, still can make use of these facilities.

The Socialist councilor defend another motion claiming a historic debt Algezares neighbors and Holy Angel, the construction of the sidewalk that links the two districts, separated by just a kilometer, which remains a huge threat to the dozens of people walking this road daily.

The village of San José de la Vega will also prominence in Parliament tomorrow, like Dolores, through a motion Councilman Jose Zapata defend requiring the local government to put an end to insecurity in the Way Tiñosa without sidewalks, no traffic lights and no shoulders.

A way-out Zapata-saturated traffic every time they pass by many locals risking their lives.
