The Socialist councilor Andrea Garries defend a motion in Parliament this month asking the local PP to work that sets and start working on a Strategic Plan for the development of the Youth Guarantee, now that the Rajoy government will bring forward 1,800 million euros from the European Union to combat youth unemployment in Spain beats all records between large EU countries, with 56.5%.

"It's time to get down to work to not miss this train," said Garries, referring to the work and responsibility that faces the Government House with the youth of the town, which is unable to continue giving back especially now when they are going to allocate financial resources to do so.

This project-stressed Garries-is already underway in the city of Cartagena since last September, after having advanced nearly 200,000 euros to start working while the money comes from the Government of Spain.

In this sense, Garries has re-emphasized the need to get to work on the plan, a project that should ensure the right of young people, in a period of four months, to have a job or a training plan to be secure the services of municipal employment.

For his part, Secretary of Socialist Youth Employment, José Antonio Camp0s, has detailed the total of 1,800 M € to be allocated to alleviate youth unemployment in Spain, about 1,000 euros will be spent by young Spanish unemployed by what about some 18 M € will become of the municipality.

Campos pointed out that 80% of Spaniards under 30 years still living at home with their parents due to unemployment and excess temporary contracts and the Region of Murcia has more than 62,000 young unemployed, more than 18,000 in the town of Murcia.

He also stressed that in our region, 23% of those under 30 are NEET, a percentage that is exacerbated in the region due to academic failure in more latent in this community.
