San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia continues to invest in research, one of the pillars of the university.
The UCAM has this morning signed an agreement advice and consultancy in this matter with the company EC3metrics, spin-off of the University of Granada.
The agreement was signed between Catholic president, Jose Luis Mendoza, and the president of the Board of Directors of EC3metrics, Evaristo Jiménez.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation in the field of counseling and consulting to improve and increase the visibility of research at the Catholic University of Murcia.
According to the Vice President for Research, Estrella Nunez, the signing of this agreement "is an important step for the University because it serves to specialized people and has an important background, not only in the evaluation of scientific productivity, but in the institutional position, help us get better performance of the work we do. expect the fruits of this agreement can be seen in the short to medium term when the University begins to rise in its positioning and visibility level of scientific productivity ".
The President of the Board of Directors of EC3metrics, Evaristo Jimenez, said that the aim of this agreement is to "apply the experience of our company in scientific indicators, increased institutional visibility, the UCAM case, since the University is interested to strengthen its position in the ranking, as well as national and international presence. "
In particular, collaboration between both parties will be addressed, among other things, to improve the visibility and positioning of national and international scientific publications of the UCAM, advising to increase the visibility of research conducted at the UCAM and in policy design research and scientific evaluation of programs and calls for R & D.
