Parades, exhibitions and conferences Murcia become the capital of design and fashion from 21 to 24 November (11/11/2013)

Murcia will become the capital of design and fashion from 21 to 24 November with the celebration of Murcia Open Design, MMOD 2013, a showcase of art and design through the presentation of creative spaces thirty.

To do this, great professionals of the caliber of David Dolphin, Pelayo Diaz, Mrs. Rushmore, Vivien Chong, Paula del Vas and Titis Cloting, among others, will participate in parades, conferences and exhibitions.

Among the main novelties of this edition is MMOD Ikea Urban Art, an exhibition aritstas ten different disciplines-graphic and industrial designers, artists and architects in different parts of the city, sponsored by Ikea.

In this section Eduardo participate Balance (Gateway Manterola), FOD (Amores Hernández Square), Sonia Navarro (Facade Drama School), Yann Leto (Square Belluga), Alejandro Ceron (Square Apostles), Pedro Pablo Carbonel + Gira (Old Restaurant Hispano ), Moho Architects (Plaza Romea), Rodrigo Da Fonseca (Glorieta), Number 26 (Andres Baquero) and Collective Fresh Flesh (Santo Domingo).

Sra.Rushmore creative agency, Carolina Parra and Nacho Ruiz T20 Gallery, Leandro Cano and Gema Requena, give lectures on fashion, art, design and advertising in space Molinos del Rio Stables.

The fashion shows will be held in the Royal Casino and will be in charge of Vivien Chong, Leando Cano, Paula del Vas, Titis Clothing, Constance Mas and Spanish Fashion collective parade to School Contest with FDI (Madrid), Felicidad Duce School ( Barcelona), ESD School (Murcia) and MMOD General Contest 2013.

MMOD is an initiative of the Foundation Murcia XXI, Tourism, Design and Fashion, the Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism, headed by Miguel Cascales.

The mayor stressed the care of this festival by promoting the culture of art, fashion and design in the city Murcia providing added value in the field of cultural tourism as a catalyst for the economy.

Councilman Sports, Miguel Cascales, the XXI Murcia Manager Design and Fashion, Pilar Martinez, and the deputy director of Ikea, Magdalena Anaut, presented the new edition of MMOD 2013.
