The spokesman for IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today criticized the "persistence" of the Councillor of Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, to increase the tax burden on citizens keeping fees and charges rise this year and creating other new taxes, even though this system provides reduced revenue by € 2.6 million.

He also noted that the regulatory changes introduced this year are another example of improvisation who chaired the tax reform last year, which established new taxes and not determined either the collection procedure.
He has also accused the councilor of "trying to raise at the expense of the citizens most affected by the crisis, which has taken profits and bonuses" and has called for greater progressivity in taxation and increased support for the most suffer the consequences of the crisis.
