More than 3,200 children attending the concert five years Metal and its colors (23/10/2013)

More than 3,200 children of the town these days attending a concert at the Teatro Circo Murcia on Metal and its colors, organized by the Obra Social La Caixa in collaboration with the Department of Education and Culture.

This concert is for children five years of 162 schools in the municipality.

There will be two sessions at 10.00 and 11.30 hours on 22, 23 and October 24.

An orchestra formed by a brass quintet and drums, accompanied by accordion, vibraphone and other percussion instruments, interpret issues Verdi, JS Bach, Henry Purcell and other classics from various eras, traditional jazz and works created specifically for the concert.

The aim is to familiarize students with live music, the atmosphere of the concerts and the different rings and brass instruments that make up an orchestra.

Education Councilwoman Maria Dolores Sanchez, has indicated that the Department has distributed aids, such as a CD with the music of the concert, so that teachers can work the students.

This initiative is part of the City Educational Offering for the course 2013/2014, in the City program also teaches.

Education has incorporated some new features over the past year in order to be tailored to the demands and needs of the educational community, one of these developments is the concert Metal and its colors.

Sanchez has been accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez and Business Area Director and La Caixa, Gerardo Cuartero.

The selection of works, the illustrations and the presentation is conducted in order to create a musical that allows students and teachers to enjoy music and facilitate the learning of the same and the elements that comprise it.

Schoolchildren learn to differentiate the brass and drums, and the musicians speak of color and tone of the notes in the different rings.

It relates the musical and visual language.

With these educational concerts for schoolchildren approaches to music from a educational and funny and gives teachers the opportunity to supplement the musical training of their students.

The show is directed by Pep Gol and the stage direction is by James Cardoner.
