Murcia enters the popular racing elite with the celebration of the first marathon in history (22/10/2013)

2,020 athletes will be starting on 3 November to complete a course approved 42,000 meters.

75 agents ensure the safety of the participants, who will join 85 volunteers.

1,000 billboards, ribbons and cones demarcate the itinerary, which will run entirely by urban areas.

Organizers create a "dorsal solidarity" to channel aid to the Foundation Jesus Forsaken.

A 12 days ahead of the expected date, everything is ready for the celebration of First Marathon Murcia will bring together 2,020 participants, of which 750 arrived from other regions and whose stay in the city will hold three hotels.

Parking restrictions

Local police have prepared a special device to ensure the safety of race participants and address the possible issues that may occur in the city.
