Young researchers from Mediterranean countries meet in Congress Campus Mare Nostrum (22/10/2013)

International Excellence Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN), University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, organized from 23 to 25 October, the International Congress Med-Souk, which aims to promote communication and partnership among young researchers, with special emphasis on those from Mediterranean countries.

In this meeting, which have been submitted over 200 proposals for defense, involving researchers and teachers of important national and international institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Ludwig Institute for Research on Cancer, University of Oxford, Stanford University, Research Institute of Nano-science from the University of Zaragoza and the National Research Council of Spain, among others.

Among the activities are scheduled and internationalization research talks, panel discussions, workshops transverse or grouped differently themed areas of knowledge (arts and humanities, social sciences and law, engineering, life sciences and health sciences), the meeting of associations of young researchers or the poster session.

The Congress is held within the framework of "Mediterranean Know How", which promotes the CMN, and responds to a need expressed by the associations of young researchers from the University of Murcia (AJIUM) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (AJICT).

The conference will take place in different locations, although the bulk of activities will be held in the Social Center of the University of Murcia, on the campus of Espinardo.
