This coming Sunday October 20 the CAP Ciudad de Murcia participates in the FARE Action Weeks Football People 2013 which has more than 500 activities in more than 44 countries.

In these days FARE 2013, our players will wear shirts racism and a placard against homophobia and we know that from the stands is also preparing something .....

Also, for the party we invited groups of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Transgender Murcia: "Do not Prives and Galactyco" to give their personal views on homosexuality in football.

This event will serve to denounce the discrimination and wrong suffered by LGBT people in sport.

It also aims to draw attention to lesbian, gay and bisexual men in the sport, often invisible, but especially transgender people, who often are excluded from tournaments or leagues because of their gender identity does not match its documentation, for a period of two years.

Homophobic harassment athletes who have suffered as Guti, Guardiola and Cristiano Ronaldo, has never been reported for fear to question his sexual orientation heterosexual, causing double discrimination and irreparable damage to all non-heterosexual young athletes who see that homophobia must be silenced in order to succeed in the sport.

Sexual orientation and gender identity are authentic taboo for Spanish athletes.

Every year thousands of athletes choose to live fully renounce their sexuality lurking in closets to avoid being identified, booed and insulted by their sexuality.

This year of sexual and gender diversity in youth we remember the young athletes, since very early many people start playing sports at a young age and also are forced to leave to fear the reaction of their peers and / or coaches.
