The City Council has approved the convening of the municipality grants for NGOs working in Latin America and the Caribbean, North Africa or West Africa, and contribute to sustainable human development by improving peoples living conditions of its people and meeting their basic needs .

Priority will be given those cooperation projects whose objectives contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals, especially those related to the areas of health, education, human rights: social services and social promotion, production, insfraestructuras and environment, governance, empowerment of women and the fight against hunger.

The amount of subsidies is 30,000 euros.

Interested NGOs will have a deadline for the submission of applications for fifteen calendar days from the day following the publication of these regulatory standards in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia.
