The Catholic University of Murcia will be responsible for managing the nutrition section to improve children's eating habits
Vitakid Foundation this morning in Albacete the project '@ genda + @ ctive', which involves five ministries of the Community of Castilla - La Mancha, in which the UCAM San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia will be an important part.
The Spanish National Team footballer and Football Club Barcelona Andres Iniesta is the image of this initiative and took the presence of the Red Albacete to participate in the presentation.
The Vice President for Research of the UCAM, Estrella Nunez UCAM represented in the presentation.
San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia participate in the Active Program with scientific and technical advice in Nutrition and Food Technology.
Active Program will launch an online platform in Castilla - La Mancha in which parents will be able to control the diet and exercise of their children knowing what their children eat in canteens of schools and activity physical they have done.
All these data together with those introducing themselves to parents whether their children lead a healthy diet and sufficient exercise.
The platform also advise parents on nutrition, physical activity, school performance and emotional intelligence.
This project is intended to more than 170,000 families in Castilla - La Mancha.
Martial Marin, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Castilla - La Mancha commented on this project that "parents will have coordinates under which they can connect and see what your child has food in school, the recommendations of experts to complete a healthy diet, physical exercise you need to perform and advice on emotional intelligence that will result in better academic results. "
