The Department of Social Welfare and Health, directed by María del Carmen Pelegrin, started the project a year of activities with children and adolescents (PAI).
The PAI is a childhood project activities through leisure and free time, where children shared with the peer group affinities of information, entertainment, cultural and sporting activities, to express personal creativity sharing, development of friendship , social skills and values ​​such as dialogue, tolerance, freedom, generosity or responsibility.
This project is framed within the strategic line number 3 Entertainment and Leisure, action 3.1.1 "project development activities with children and adolescents in school hours and holiday periods as spaces to promote the game, coexistence, creative leisure, prevention and social integration ", the municipal program for children and adolescents, 2012-2015.
The project's main objective is "to promote space activities and participation and involvement of children, youth and family in leisure, recreational and educational character, from the perspective of prevention, encourage personal development and foster positive relationships, habits optimal health and development. "
The activities are aimed at children from 6-12 years in the municipality.
The Municipal Department of Social Services to derive under which it is intervening in a situation of vulnerability or social risk, family factors, school, environment or relationship with the peer group, or those belonging to certain environments or reference groups may pose a stigmatizing or segregating element to determine their development and social integration.
The activities that will make the children are scheduled depending on interest centers, and activities can be grouped into:
- Group
- Physical - Sports
- Games
- Dynamic expression workshops and manual
- Personal Development
- Health education
- Environmental Activities
- From social and community participation
- Socio-family
The IAPs, are developed in October 2013 at the end of May 2014.
Registration for activities will be held from 3 to 8 October in place of the implementation.
Today will be held the draw for obtaining square, supported lists will be presented on the 11th in place of the implementation.
The event will start on October 14.
Each EPI has two weekly performance days, the hours of 16-18 hours served by two monitors / as each, making a total of 34 participants monitor.
The IAPs are developed in 34 neighborhoods and districts of the Municipality of Murcia:
- 13 located in the center of Murcia
- 12 in the North Zone
- 9 in the south
Of these, 24 are located in schools, cultural centers and 8 local municipalities 2.
The number of places for PAI is 40.
The total number of places offered this program of leisure and free time is 1,360.
At the end of the project in May, activity will be a meeting of all the children involved, intercountry.
The diptych of this year, includes four slogan selected by children, in a contest that was held in the previous year among participants in the PAI.
