The UCAM begins to give in Gastronomy college next November 4 (08/10/2013)

The degree in gastronomy, which has been verified by ANECA, begin to offer themselves as title itself, in the catalog of titles UCAM, and will become official title once completed the final approval scheduled for this academic year.

The title is offered in collaboration with the Tourism Qualification Center, under the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, whose excellent facilities develop their practical training students.

Note that this will be the second grade this subject which will be held in Spain.

The registration period is open, and there are already many people interested in developing this training.

Keynote speech

The considered one of the best chefs in the world, three star Michelin restaurant owner El Celler de Can Roca, Joan Roca i Fontané, will be responsible for delivering the keynote address at a ceremony to be held at the beginning of December.

Specialization

Its innovative, high standards of teaching and its location on the campus of the UCAM, give this training a unique character.

As indicated by the degree director, José María Cayuela, students can specialize in three areas: 'Innovation in the food industry', 'Top management and food companies' or 'Innovation in Mediterranean', in order to improve the knowledge acquired along the grade.

Another betting UCAM is the creation of the International Chair in Mediterranean Cuisine, run by Antonio Marquerie, and the Sweet Kitchen Chair Paco Torreblanca ', which is the director's own cook, who was recently appointed by the institution University Professor Extraordinary Sweet Kitchen.

Besides this, the great chefs are several national and international teach at this new level.
