The Regional Auditorium hosts the new series of 'Family Concert' with Fernando Argenta, Luis Piedrahita and Ara Malikian (04/10/2013)

The series, which has an average of 1,300 attendees per show, starting next October 20 with 'The Genius of Mozart' and will feature the participation of Fernando Argenta on January 26.

The director of the Institute for Cultural Industries and Arts, Juan Antonio Lorca, today introduced the series 'Family Concert' for the season 2013/2014, which conducts the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia in the Auditorio Victor Villegas .

In the presentation, which was also attended by the director of the SORM, Virginia Martinez, the director said that it is a cycle that seeks the development of new audiences through educational concerts for family groups.

'Family Concert' starts on October 20 with 'The Genius of Mozart "and a performance of Manuel de Reyes playing the Austrian musician and Virginia Martinez leading the orchestra.

The cycle will continue on November 10 with the concert 'Between the ropes, where attendees can discover, through the narration of Bethlehem Otxotorena, different timbres, sounds and effects that are capable of producing stringed instruments of the SORM.

The cycle will continue from January 26 with 'The argentazo', in which Fernando Argenta, whose extensive experience in the world of radio and television has earned him numerous honors, including two Ondas Awards, several antennas Gold and even Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, Communicator will display the skills that have made him famous.

The March 16 concert will take place 'Diary of a Flea', created and narrated by comedian Luis Piedrahita music from Camille Saint Saëns.

The cycle will end on June 1 with 'A Sunday Malikian', starring violinist Ara Malikian.

All concerts will take place on Sunday, at 12:00 pm with 6 euro prices for single locations, which can be purchased from October 14 and 25 euros for fertilizers in 5 locations, available from 7 to October 18.
