San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia has inaugurated this morning the fourth edition of the Forum decides, that this time has been on 'Reinventing culture and sport'.
The event, which will continue throughout the day tomorrow, will bring together over seven major debates on the national scene personalities related to the subject to be treated.
In the opening ceremony intervened UCAM president, Jose Luis Mendoza, the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Government of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cruz, and swimmer Mireia Belmonte .
The university president stressed that since this is the fourth edition, and is satisfied that it is acquiring a reputation important throughout the national and international level.
"This forum allows promote all that is business management, entrepreneurship, all the support, through sport, through the University," he qualified.
For his part, Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara noted that with this forum "once again highlights the implication that has the Catholic University of Murcia with the encouragement of entrepreneurship and support the sport" and He added that "the sport becomes an opportunity to generate economic activity, also generating employment opportunities for the future."
During his speech, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Government of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cruz, has highlighted the use of the word 'reinvent' the motto of the Forum.
"Reinventing the culture and sport, is absolutely necessary at this time, we must reinvent the mentality that Spain has in its culture and sport, turning once and for all truly strategic sectors, and for that, all we have to educate that are productive from an economic standpoint and social ".
The swimmer Mireia Belmonte has been very happy to belong to "the UCAM, which is college sports and is an example."
