The Huertano Monument, located in the area known as The Four Stones, at the end of the Malecon, in the Arboleja, again look like new after restoration to which he has been subjected in recent weeks.
This monument, which was inaugurated in 1990, had suffered in recent months several flaws, the result of vandalism.
The main problem with the play was its attachment to basement, which had been forced and threatened to collapse.
The piece, by sculptor Diego Mirete, has dimensions exceeding two meters in height and weight reaches 600 kilos.
The author himself was responsible for the sculpture back to its original patina, after technicians strengthen the base of it, consists of several blocks of stone wall coming from the boardwalk itself.
