The Mayor has signed this morning a partnership agreement with the company that affects the processing of the waste zero quota and water special rate for pensioners.
Right now enjoy "zero quota" in the waste collection rate 2,692 poor families.
The bonus will saves € 328,000.
Currently 1,754 pensioners benefit from the social rate of water.
The Municipal Tax Agency continues the modernization process in managing saving procedures and costs to citizens.
The modernization process undertaken by the Municipal Tax Agency to save paperwork and costs for citizens to meet tax obligations now extends to Aguas de Murcia and in particular, to the processing of the waste fee 0 and the special rate water.
For this, the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the CEO of the company, José Albaladejo, to exchange information and elimination of paperwork to citizens.
The event was held with the presence of the Councillor for Economy and Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, and the director of the Municipal Tax Agency, embodies Lopez.
This agreement is in addition to other steps taken with the aim of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the City in its dealings with taxpayers, generalizing the use of online tools and simplifying administrative procedures to the maximum.

The requirements to access it are:
- Monthly income of the family unit, in all respects, below the SMI (currently € 645.30 per month), or 125% of SMI in the event of disability equal to or greater than 65;

- Having the residence address coincides with that of service delivery and policy.
In these cases, EMUASA inform subscribers potable water service to the existence and application requirements for zero rate fee for garbage collection, providing subscribers the application form and report on places where it should be presented, along with the required documentation for processing.
- Cooperation on implementation of the special rate for pensioners in the drinking water:
The City will make available to taxpayers for garbage collection rate the possibility of requesting the application of the special rate for current pensioners as EMUASA conditions in the application model zero quota enforcement.
Currently there are 1,754 pensioners who benefit from this social rate of water, which allows them not to pay anything for the use of the first 15 liters and 50% for the next 10 liters.
Procedure to follow
The system provided for granting special rate for pensioners is:
1 º. - Taxpayers for Garbage Collection Rates may apply jointly to point that out explicitly in the application form zero application fee, the application of the preferential rate of water for pensioners.
Applications may be submitted at the offices of tax management and collection, in the general register of the City and the Citizen's offices in the districts and districts of Murcia.
2nd. - The Municipal Tax Agency will process the request for the application of zero quota on Garbage Collection Rate.
3 º. - In cases upholding the decision is reached that the application of zero quota and also fulfill the following conditions:
a) Condition pensioner accredited policyholder.
b) not exceeding the amount of such pension SMI.
The Municipal Tax Agency EMUASA inform this condition, who shall automatically include the policyholder at the special rate of pensioners in the next billing water and by the time of grant of the zero-rate fee for garbage collection .
4th. - Renewals: Prior to completion within three years of applying zero-rate fee Garbage, the policy holder may apply for renewal of the application by submitting the appropriate application form and accompanying required documentation.
