The GPP is attached to the request of the Brotherhood of Jesus for the Salzillos are Heritage (25/09/2013)

The regional deputy Maria Teresa Marin today defended a motion to support the application for declaration of property and equipment and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco for the sculpture of Salzillo that Murcia procession Friday morning and whose processing is taking place the Brotherhood of Jesus.

This support, as explained, will allow the brotherhood of Jesus of Murcia find a foothold critical to get that reconcocimiento of UNESCO.

He recalled, too, that it is a priceless art treasure, made by Salzillo between 1752 and 1777, and that "are masterpieces of Spanish art history, declared of cultural interest", while noted that the various works that make up the whole "can not be understood separately," and constitute "one of the greatest symbols of identity of the city of Murcia."
