The historical tradition of the Cattle Fair, to all (20/08/2013)

A messenger from the King read the edict granted Cattle Fair to Murcia

Visitors will have the opportunity to see how businesses close of sale the opening day of the XIX Murcia Cattle Fair, which opens its doors on 6 September as many traders will be present making arrangements to publicize the job to Murcia today.

Another new feature of this year's staging of the granting of the privilege of the Fair, granted by Alfonso X in the thirteenth century: a messenger from the King read the edict granted the right to Murcia City to enter into this market.

The Cattle Fair Murcia contains native animals, most notably cattle, pigs and horses.

It also has pen animals and people flock to see exotic species only and crafts.

One of the must of the attendees are the areas where the flat is located in Murcia

Day of the Horse

Another tradition that remains is the celebration of the Day of the Horse, which will take place on September 8.

On this day it hits a walk-horse carriages parade, leaving from the arrival to Azacaya Avenue Alfonso X El Sabio, which presented the award "Golden Horse", which last year went to Councilman Culture, Rafael Gomez, for his efforts to promote the fair.
