Culture installs QR codes in art galleries and museums of Murcia (19/08/2013)

With the aim of providing more and better information about art spaces of Murcia, Murcia City Hall, through the Department of Culture, directed by Rafael Gomez, has undertaken a project to improve the tourist information by installing QR codes.

These codes, which will be installed all today, can be found at the entrance of the Palace Arts Center Almudí, Puertas de Castilla Municipal Center, City Museum, Science Museum and the Water and Museum Ramon Gaya.

With the launch of this new technology, the city of Murcia is intended to provide more and better information and helps citizens and visitors, and that through this QR code, interested persons can access the websites of each of the municipal centers.

The initiative, which started with art centers and museums of the municipality, shall extend to the theaters, cultural centers and municipal auditoriums.

Moreover, the city of Murcia is working on developing an application that provides visitors of Murcia acquire all the cultural information that develops in the municipality of Murcia.

From a hotel, and through a QR code, visitors will find art spaces, theaters, cultural centers, auditoriums and cultural places of interest.

With this application you can locate, guide to reach the place chosen, see programming, virtual visits, see the story and even the ability to purchase tickets.

This same application will not only allow you to access all this information from the QR code in the city, but the visitor, from anywhere in the world, you can access all the information mentioned above.
