Forty unemployed youth work in the restoration and renovation of municipal facilities (13/08/2013)

So far they have done work in the Artillery Barracks, the firehouse Espinardo and Senior Center |

Last June began the 4th and final phase of the Workshop School "Accessible Youth Center.

Phase II "project promoted by the Municipality of Murcia, funded by the Regional Employment and Training and co-funded by the European Social Fund.

To date it has provided 75% of the training provided, representing a total of 2,880 hours.

A total of 40 young people have just signed his last contract extension training of 6 months ending on December 26.

In this training workshop specialties studied gardening and environment; plumbing, heating and solar thermal, masonry and restoration, painting, stucco and building finishes, carpentry and joinery, ironmongery, forging, and electricity and renewable energy.

Students earn Certificate of Professionalism, which are official qualifications valid in the Spanish territory, which demonstrate the professional skills of a person to develop a work activity.

So far 40 students Municipal Workshop School have obtained a Certificate of Professional Level II and 6 students a certificate of Level I.

The workshops have so far the implementation of numerous works, among which are the following:

Ground-Rehabilitation Pavilion No.2 Artillery Barracks.

-Execution of the interior layout of the levels 1 and 2 of the Municipal Initiatives Center and envelope and conducting porch furniture.

-Painting inside a Center for Women and Seniors

Restoration of the exterior carpentry City Museum.

Restoration of Locomotive "Victoria".

-Repairs several in Espinardo firehouse and Murcia.

-Rehabilitation of the information booth Santo Domingo Square.

-Redesign of the Palmar CFIE garden.

Maintenance and improvement of green space in the Plaza de los Patos.

Running-brick factories, lintels and sanitation accessible surface Youth Center.

-Design and implementation of contest trophies and awards business day women.

The actions to be developed for the remainder of the project will be:

-Rehabilitation of balconies in a Women's Center

-Landscaping and facade painting Espinardo Occupational Classroom.

-Installing the locomotive roundhouse.

-Rehabilitation of Fire Station source of Murcia.

- Free for personal use of photovoltaic solar panels of CFIE-El Palmar.

Environmental-guided Tours of Peace College City of El Palmar.
