The Ecopark and moving six points are there in Murcia can be used by citizens throughout the holiday period.

The Ecopark is a facility for use by citizens.

The Murcia Ecopark is a municipal facility of 3,500 m2, which consists of a control booth, an environmental classroom and offices, a special room for hazardous waste, special waste enclosed area, area for large containers for each type of bulky waste and work area for receiving and sorting of waste received by Ecopoints.

¿Y QUE SE HACE CON ESTOS RESIDUOS-

Todos los residuos que llegan al Ecoparque se almacenan de forma adecuada, respetando toda la normativa legal y medioambiental vigente.

Periódicamente se trasladan a su correspondiente gestor autorizado.

Este proceso lleva un seguimiento exhaustivo mediante documentos de control que garantizan la correcta gestión por ambas partes, ya que los gestores son responsables de la realización del tratamientos medioambiental adecuado.

Ejemplos: el aceite vegetal se trata en una planta que lo refina y lo convierte en biodiesel, las baterías se tratan para extraerles el plomo y reutilizar este metal, las materas se tratan para obtener serrín, etc.
