The University of Murcia and the Painted House Foundation today signed an agreement for establishing FCG Chair, which will be dedicated to research on the career and work of artist Mula.
The Chair, in addition to organizing exhibitions, conferences and all activities that contribute to the spread of Gabarron work, convene in the coming days a scholarship for the study of the artist's work, as indicated by the promoter of the agreement, Professor of History of Art Miguel Angel Hernandez.
The aid of 6,000 euros, is for a student or post-doctoral student, who, led by the director of the Chair, will have to access and support research in the various branches of the FCG.
The teacher described the constitution of today as good news for the humanities and contemporary art, "now that we are experiencing a hard time cuts, especially in this area."
Meanwhile, FCG, which has been present in the Rector of the University for the signing ceremony, highlighted the importance to him than the Chair is in Murcia.
The agreement was signed by the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, and executive secretary of the Painted House Foundation, FCG Cabero, son of the creator Mulenen, who have indicated their satisfaction at the start of this "exciting" project 10,000 euros for the year 2013/2014.
