The University of Murcia held from September, a series of meetings in the main towns of the region in which free of charge to inform employers about the applicability criteria of R + D + i in their companies.
During the meetings, to be held under the name Innovation Forum and have the cooperation of the Caixa and Economics Circle, participants will also learn what research projects carried out by companies from the competition and utility of I + D to improve competitiveness.
During the presentation of the Forum, held today at the headquarters of the Senate, has been an impact on the risk of loss of competitiveness of enterprises and the need for greater investment in innovation by the latter to increase regional GDP.
An estimated five hundred companies participate in the sessions, which are born destined to continue and to enhance collaboration between researchers from the university and the business world.
At the presentation ceremony involved the Vice Chancellor for Research and Internationalisation, Gaspar Ros, the director of the Business Area in Murcia Caixa, Gerardo Cuartero, the president of the Economic Circle, Jesus Pacheco, and the director of the Office of Transfer Outcomes (TTO) of the University, Antonio Montes, developing the project.
