A large group of students and teachers participate as international volunteers UCAM and conduct volunteer organization and tasks of the Day between 15 and 28 July.
The group of volunteers departed UCAM Brazil last weekend, and will return to Murcia on 3 August.
According to the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, and volunteer coordinator of the UCAM, Antonio Alcaraz the number of volunteers for WYD Rio 2013, is noteworthy because it "is more than a quarter of the volunteers selected by the organization of the Conference on Spain, in fact Spanish 90 volunteers, 35 are of the UCAM ".
For his part, Antonio Alcaraz, director of the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II, UCAM has reported that "will be a great joy to be with the Pope Francisco in Rio de Janeiro" and stressed that "we have in our hearts remember Benedict XVI and John Paul II, the pope who began the World Youth Days. "
