Murcia University today awarded the prize of Poster Contest VI-Motto "International Year of Statistics and Mathematics of Planet Earth", which went to María del Mar García Pérez.

The award is worth 500 euros and has also been awarded a second prize of 250 euros, to Juan Diego Ingelmo Benavente.

The jury, which was convened by the Scientific Culture Unit of the University, has assessed the suitability to the proposed theme, technical quality, artistic quality, originality and informative nature of the scientific topics of the posters.

The exhibition can be visited posters finalists from today in the lobby of the building Rector Soler, Espinardo campus.
