BBVA Integra Awards distinguish the project "Work Experience" sponsored by FEYCSA in Murcia (10/07/2013)

The winning initiative is a joint stationery brand agendas and notebooks.

The call, which presented 136 proposals, recognizes the work of innovative initiatives that create quality jobs for people with disabilities.

The prize endowed with 48,000 euros, has been delivered this morning in a ceremony held at the Plenary Hall.

FEYCSA, nonprofit institution aimed primarily at people with intellectual disabilities, has been awarded one of the 2013 BBVA Integra Awards, which recognizes the work of those innovative initiatives that create quality jobs for people with disabilities.

Yolanda Martinez, Regional Director Eastern Territorial BBVA, and Gabriel de la Fuente, director of BBVA Murcia, have given this award to Rosa Garcia, president of the Board of Directors of FEYCSA, in a ceremony also attended by councilors Mary del Carmen Pelegrin, Isabel Martinez Conesa and José María Tortosa.

FEYCSA, created in 2000, aims to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and promotes a value system and ethical code regarding how to act in the field of social and labor integration of this collective.

The project chosen for the award, "Work Experience", was distinguished among the 136 nominations were submitted to the call.

It is a mark of solidarity agendas stationery and notebooks also incorporate customized for advertising clients thereof.

They have innovated from the traditional agenda and binding leather book to modern bindings hardcover or soft functional finishes without sacrificing quality, open space in the segment of small and highly customized orders.

The allocation of the project will sustain jobs and where possible, expand.

Also, try to design and implement an internationalization plan, in addition to acquiring new machinery and develop software that facilitates the use of its online customization items for a greater number of users.

BBVA INTEGRA Award was first awarded in 2009 and is an initiative launched by BBVA to recognize the work of those non-profit organizations or individual entrepreneurs who develop projects of integration of people with disabilities and foster the development of initiatives and good practice in this area of ​​activity.

Galician Social Economy was the fifth winner of this prize, worth 200,000 euros.
