Sources recalled that all groups supported the compensation agreement legally endorsed full (04/07/2013)

The municipal group spokesman of the PP in the city of Murcia, Nuria Fuentes, recalled today that all groups with municipal representation supported the compensation agreement endorsed by the full law.

"The PSOE demonstrates an absolute cynicism not pay compensation that includes the law, and that it was approved by the PSOE and all local groups in plenary. "said the councilor.

In reference to the interpretations that have been made since opposition groups regarding the compensation to which they are entitled to have held the council areas of government responsibility, the City wants to clarify that in the plenary of Incorporation of Corporations of the City of Murcia July 2007-PP, PSOE and IU-June and 2011-PP, PSOE, IU and UPyD-, were all local groups that signed the joint motions paths in which both the regime established assignments members of the corporation as the corresponding compensation.

Thus, in section five, the agreement specifies that "In accordance with the provisions of art. 75.8 from a Law 7/1985, in its new wording introduced by Law 8/2007 of 28 May, it was agreed to establish a compensation economic equivalent to 80% of the remuneration assigned to those councilors who have held executive responsibilities in different areas for the organization of local government and as a result the incompatibilities provided for in article 8 of Law 5/2006 of 10 April, Regulating Conflicts of Interests of members of the government and senior officials of the General Administration of the State, unable to perform their professional activity or receive financial remuneration for other activities during the two years following the completion of its mandate " .

Therefore, they are all political groups represented in the city of Murcia which endorsed this agreement that results in any council that meets these requirements acquires the right to receive it.
