The Association for People with Down Syndrome (ASSIDO) of Murcia is proposed to carry out an expansion of its facilities to continue providing quality service to people with Down syndrome.
Thus they have expressed some of the members of the association who visited yesterday afternoon in the council of Social Welfare and Health, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin.
The meeting took place at the office of the head of Social Welfare of the City of Murcia, has served to bring together projects that the association plans to carry out in the coming months.
Assido is a nonprofit organization that since 1981 is dedicated, in the Region of Murcia, treatment, support, care, training and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities from birth and throughout all stages of her life.
The main objective is to improve the quality of life of our members and their families, hence the interest in having a new center which will work more in this direction to improve the quality of people with Down syndrome in the municipality of Murcia.
