Learning the theory of mirror neurons (01/07/2013)

Big Neuron is an interactive exhibit giant neuron shaped where the participant is invited to meet the scientific theory of mirror neurons, the basis of social empathy.

Participants will enter a maze of mirrors and transit through the different parts that make neurons receive information, solving mysteries and participating in activities to get under the skin of the other.

Exposure may Neuron Green Big July 1 to September 15 at the Museum of Science and Water and is intended to all audiences interested in learning in depth knowledge of the mirror neuron.

Big Neugura is an exhibition with dozens of activities that has as main objective to bring science through play and entertainment.

A giant neuron to which all have access.

Big Neuron invites the participant to know the scientific theory of mirror neurons, the basis of social empathy, into a maze of mirrors.

Those who come to visit, transit through the different parts that make neurons receive information, solving mysteries and participating in activities to get under the skin of the other.

In all his stops, both Big Neuron as workshops and activities associated with it, these will be completely free and entry is open to the general public.

Big Neuron is the brainchild of The Kaleidoscope and ANEI Siglo XXI.

It also has the support of the Spanish Society of Neuroscience and Spanish tour of several cities has been funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

In developing the project also collaborated Miguel Hernandez University, the Institute of Bioengineering and Institute of Neuroscience UMH-CSIC.
