About 73,000 people visit Teatro Circo Murcia in the 2012-2013 season (01/07/2013)

Throughout the 2012-2013 season, Teatro Circo Murcia has enjoyed the presence of 72,809 people who have attended any of the shows organized, of which over 64% are women.

These are some of the results of research conducted by Public TCM, April-May 2013.

This is the first study conducted in collaboration with the company Murcia Interface Innovation and Culture, and was made from two surveys, one face and one online.

This detailed study viewers of a stage is the first with which it has in the region of Murcia, which is a turning point in how to manage the relationship between publicly owned cultural spaces and citizens.

Advance Study results

The report, which can be downloaded in digital format from the page of TCM and has been published under a Creative Commons open license, collects data regarding General Public Theatre, a socio-demographic profile, the degree of satisfaction and preferences viewers with respect to programming and how communication has influenced theater in attracting the public.

Thus, this study provides data Public as the number of spectators who have come to TCM during the 2012-2013 season (72,809), the overall mean age of the same (39'41 years) and every kind of show represented (38, 1 years for theater, concert 38.92, 39.2 for comedy shows, family shows and 40.73 to 42.41 for musicals) or public distribution by sex theater (64.2% female, 35, 8% men).

Other data of interest in this study refer to the geographical origin of viewers (53% pertenencen the town of Murcia, while 19% of the districts and Coming To 22% of the rest of the region) and the assiduity with attending the theater (36% did so for the first time, 30% came occasionally and 34% attended regularly).

Finally, it highlights the excellent assessment of programming that make TCM viewers: 89% of overall viewers describe as good or very good, this percentage increases to 95% if you look at the audience that habitually goes to the Theatre.
