Pilates is a system of physical and mental training created in the early twentieth century by Joseph Hubertus Pilates.
Since then it has become a healthy and beneficial exercise for those who want to improve certain aspects of their fitness or to correct postural abnormalities.
The ongoing "Pilates for health and sport", framed in the programming of International University Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum closer to those who carry the principles of this method to get a correct execution of the exercises and ensure a real benefits.
The course is led by Ignacio Martínez González-Moro and Maria Carrasco Poyatos, Professors of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia and the UCAM respectively, and will be taught by professors from the faculties of Medicine and Sport Science and Physical Therapists Pilates instructors.
Students have the right to free credits 2'5 or 1 ECTS-CRAU.
