The Socialist councilor Susana Hernandez claims that after the closure of Espinardo Occupational Center lies a hidden privatization and regrets that the PP of La Glorieta consents closing health facilities in our town during the summer

The Socialist Municipal Group regrets the lack of sensitivity shown by the Party during the Full Council of Murcia in denying their joint motion support raised by PSOE and IU-Greens demanding the Autonomous Community not close Occupational Center espinardo.

La councilman Susana Hernández, recalls that the PSOE going to continue defending to maintain the Centro of Espinardo open and requires the IMAS that make public than once the reports with which is justified the announced closure.

"Behind this hides a clear intention to privatize the service, and not what going to tolerate because is a right of dependents, for whom this center is its life and some users wear there over 20 years," says Hernández.

In addition, during the plenary, the PP has not accepted the proposal of the Socialist Group, raised by a motion of urgency to ask the Ministry of Health that this summer closing five offices (San Pedro Canadas, Cabeza de la Plata, Santa Cruz, Azarbe Shore, Carretera Santa Catalina) in our town and deleted consultations and emergency service in five health centers Murcia (Infante, Barrio del Carmen, Bacons Bridge Espinardo and Cabeza de Torres).

"We understand that this decision of Health a discriminatory measure, because what you get is that" those who can not spend the summer, run out of health care in your area ", especially considering that the public transport network in our town is very far from offering an efficient, capable of meeting the needs of the residents, said the mayor Susana Hernandez.

The PSOE Councillor concludes that this policy harms especially the elderly, the chronically ill, and people with mobility difficulties, it will be forced to travel more miles for the same health care, "says Hernandez.
