II Day Thomist 'natural law Aquinas' (27/06/2013)

The UCAM Murcia Catholic University today celebrated the II Thomistic 'natural law Aquinas. "Target has been reflecting on the thought of this saint and philosopher while continuing the work of the late Father Abelardo Lobato . since the university has wanted to make a tribute to the late President of the International Association Aquinas and that started two years ago, this Conference Thomists.

The Catholic University of Murcia UCAM, today met several experts about thinking Thomist who discussed various topics related to the philosophy of the saint and theologian.

The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension and Full Professor in the UCAM, Antonio Alcaraz, Carlos Christopher Cano, Superior Dominican community of Murcia and Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Murcia, Lorenzo Vicente Burgoa, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Murcia, Enrique Martinez Garcia, Vice President for Research, Graduate Studies and Quality and Assistant Professor at the University of Barcelona CEU Abat Oliva.

Board Member of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas, and José María Alsina Rock, Professor of Philosophy and Rector Emeritus of the University of Barcelona Abad Oliva CEU.

The main theme of this conference have tried has been a reflection on "natural law" of this figure of reference for the study of philosophy and theology of the Church.

After starting with a tribute to the late Father Abelardo Lobato, was continued with the debate on topics such as "the natural foundation of human sociability", whose conference was conducted by D.

José María Alsina Rock and with which he intended "to reflect on whether or not man is inclined to live in society."

Another speaker was Enrique Martinez, Vice President for Research at the University of Barcelona CEU Abat Oliva spoke to St. Thomas as "the great master in the tradition of the Church."

The Thomist topic this researcher has tried has been "natural law" explained, commented, as does St. Thomas, "from the natural inclinations of man."

With these latter days the Catholic University of Murcia has sought, in the words of its Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Antonio Alcaraz, "creating a forum for communication of people working on the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas."

An opportunity to focus thinkers and thought on this figure of reference for the study of humanistic subjects.
