The UCAM and join forces CETEC (26/06/2013)

The UCAM San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia and the Technology Center and Plastic Footwear Murcia (CETEC) have this morning signed a collaboration agreement in order to facilitate scientific exchange and advice between the two institutions, in general, and in particular, in the activities related to teaching, research and management, and transfer of results of research work.

The agreement was signed by the president of the university, José Luis Mendoza, and the president of the Technology Center, Blas Marin Lopez.

Also during the event was attended by the Vice President for Research of the UCAM, Estrella Nunez, and CETEC director, Rafael Losada.

The research rector of the Catholic University of Murcia has indicated that this agreement allows a little closer to the world of business research.

"Technology centers are important agents that pivot between companies and research centers closer, as I say, the possibility that not only do students can access these practices, but to develop joint projects that can be allowed to compete in Europe good proposals, "he highlighted Estrella Nunez.

For his part, President of CETEC stressed the importance of R & D, and has stated that this agreement allows students to "be closer to the R & D is done in the enterprise."
