Communicate the importance of awareness and collaboration by all social groups to develop strategies for conservation of biodiversity, is one of the main objectives set for the course "Biodiversity in southeastern Iberian: a multidisciplinary approach", included in the schedule International University Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum and jointly organized by the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic.
The course will provide data on the current inventory of species and habitats of southeastern Spanish, reporting on its shortcomings and highlighting the major threats to the biodiversity of this area and tools that can be used in conservation.
The course, which will be held in the Chamber of Arts Campus de la Merced University of Murcia between 1 and 4 July, is directed by Cayetano Gutiérrez Cánovas, David Sánchez Fernández, José S.
Carrión García and Manuel Giner Munuera.
The activity has a duration of 25 hours, and who are enrolled in it will be entitled to 2.5 free credits or 1 ECTS-CRAU.
