Rejection resounding closing Espinardo occupational center (25/06/2013)

The councilors Susana Hernandez (PSOE) and Nacho Tornel (IU-Greens) show their outrage at the ease and coldness with which the regional government suppressed a stroke center serving 104 people, with 30 places of residence and 74 as day center.

The future for civil rights-councilors denounced both PP-posed to the dismantling of public services essential and necessary as this.

"They are trampling the welfare state and all that we have achieved over many years," he lamented.

Therefore, the Socialist Group and IU-Greens have united to reject, through a joint motion, closing Espinardo occupational center, require the regional government to backtrack and to carry out a refurbishment of its facilities and that according to the PP, they are obsolete, which is the cause that claim to order its closure.

For both councilors, surprisingly, are issues relating to the state of the facilities given by the ministry of Health and Social Policy to enforce the closure of the same.

So, Hernandez and Tornel requested in plenary to the Ministry to publicly announce those technical reports which you use to justify the closure of the center.
