The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Health and Social Policy and the Foundation Help, Development and Education (FADE) for volunteer activities at the home of elderly San Basilio de Murcia.
Thus, staff will develop the program FADE 'Secunda, Social Volunteering' with elderly, sick or dependent, as well as their families, to offer support tools to help them overcome positive and enriching life experience that comes with entry into a residence.
Through this agreement, the volunteers may provide additional assistance to the senior center, with initiatives such as the accompaniment to their residents during periods of hospitalization, reading activities, rides and help to perform daily tasks or steps outside the center .
