The City of Murcia, through Beniaján Auditorium; CEPAIM Foundation, through the fledgling Center Station (Intercultural Community Action Center) and the Beniaján Music Group (AMB) have joined to undertake an artist residency which aims to promote inter-community collaborations and institutional Beniaján territory.
This project is part of open lines of collaboration between "CEPAIM Foundation and the Department of Culture of Murcia" for the year 2013 being the primary objective to promote tissue growth Socio-Cultural Beniaján locally through work in coordinated network.
This collaboration represents a connection of three different contexts, Cultural (auditorium), Social (The Station) and Education (Beniaján Music School) and optimization of inter-connections and links.
This initiative aims to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue, the dialogue between artists and community and social dialogue, researching, developing and innovating on the starting element based on the artistic development of this proposal scenographic-music through the artists in residence program .
Program interested in developing the connection with the audience and other professionals, the auditorium and Performing Arts Center presents the Residence Beniaján as a tool to get closer to bridging between the creative process, visiting artists and local activities that are being developed in network infrastructures sociocultural CEPAIM territory.
ARTISTIC RESIDENCY "Carles & ROSSY

Beniaján Auditorium / Beniaján Station
First, the auditorium of Beniaján provide infrastructure and technical resources and staff for the development of an artist residency to be held in the theater of the same during the week 17 to June 20.
The award-winning and renowned conductor and pianist Carles Santos and renowned actress Rossy de Palma have decided to embark into a creative process based on a methodology of improvisation to create a piece where music and performative action are of supreme importance, a piece that will be released in collaboration with the city of Murcia and CEPAIM Foundation in the next edition of the Festival of Terrassa, Catalonia, during the month of October.

The School Band and Beniaján preferred Resident will be responsible for organizing and conducting auditions school students created space for students to show work being done during the academic year, on 21 and 22 June auditorium in the theater where the artist Carles Santos perform a concert performing his latest piece "No to No".

ROSSY BENIAJAN IN STATION (Community Action Center) CEPAIM Foundation.

In turn CEPAIM Foundation to coincide with the presentation of the annual activity program of Community Action Center Station Beniaján the artist Rossy de Palma & Agustín Vidal made an installation based on migration on the occasion of the recent celebration of Africa Day in an act of solidarity.
