Niños y niñas del municipio entre 6 y 12 años.
En algunas escuelas de verano se ofertan plazas para niños y niñas entre 4 y 5 años, en Alquerías,San Andrés, Santiago El Mayor, siendo el total de plazas de estas edades 40.
En otras tres escuelas, las edades serán para adolescentes entre 13 y 16 años, siendo el total de plazas de 82.
Las 3 restantes en colaboración con asociaciones y grupos de voluntariado.
El número total de plazas es de 1.852, de las cuales 175 plazas son las que ofertan los grupos de voluntariado yo asociaciones, 539 plazas están reservadas para menores que están participando en programas de la Concejalía durante todo el año y 1.138 plazas salen a oferta pública.

For the second consecutive year to collaborate on the various summer schools 20 university volunteers who selflessly give their time to support the monitors in the various activities that take place.
This year for the first time be incorporated Youth Red Cross volunteers at summer schools, performing and monitoring support in the pools.
Dentro de las actividades de verano, tal y como se recoge en la actuación 3.3.1 del Programa Municipal de Infancia, se gestionan plazas de campamento de una semana de duración en el mes de julio, y primera quincena de agosto para aquellos menores que participan en programas de intervención y que carecen de recursos económicos u otras circunstancias que justifique la asistencia a dichos campamentos.
El número de plazas contratadas este verano asciende a 127, cuatro de estas plazas son para menores con discapacidad en el campamento que organiza Leyva.
El horario será de 8:00 a 13:30 horas sin comedor y de 8:00 a 17:00 horas con comedor.
Así mismo se reservaron 4 plazas para menores con discapacidad.
