The City awards youngsters who best know how to drive safely (11/06/2013)

The Mayor delivered the awards to the teams that have earned the highest score in the Traffic Education Contest XXIV and Accident Prevention.

In this new edition, 4,116 students have participated ESO 3rd of 54 schools.

The competition is aimed at students aged 14 and 15, who are younger drivers that can run on public roads.

Contribute to become good drivers for the future is the goal of Driver Education Contest and Accident Prevention convened the City Council each year and whose awards presented today the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, accompanied by the councilors Nuria Fuentes and Lola Sanchez, responsible Safety and Education, respectively.

The initiative is aimed at students of 3 º ESO, with 14 and 15, are the youngest drivers and, therefore, the population in which there is that influence more aspects of prevention.

To do this, the participants have to pass tests throughout the school year on traffic rules and road traffic signals, besides first aid.

In this edition XXIV 4,116 students attended 54 schools, who are expected to become the future in good conductors, abiding with the traffic rules and road safety.

The contest began last March and concluded on May 21.

After completing the 1st phase, 147 were classified 441 teams of school.

The second phase was held on April 23 in the auditorium of local police, which brought together 417 students in 139 teams.

The third and final phase took place on May 21.

She agreed 6 teams with 18 students, whose final ranking was:

April.

Col. N ª S ª OF FUENSANTA, Jesus Maria, Murcia, with JAVIER PAINTED DICENTA, ANA LAURA LOPEZ COLLADOS PELLICER and Mateos.

Awards 3 photographic equipment.

May.

Col. MONTEAGUDO, of Murcia, governs JUAN MARTÃNEZ-MARTÃNEZ, SORIA JOSE MARIA GIL and ALCÁZAR FRANCISCO LOPEZ.

Awards: 3 MP4.

June.

Col. SAN VICENTE DE PAUL, El Palmar, with CELIA MARTAGON MARBLE, LIZA and ÁLVARO GINÉS LUJÁN CONESA EXPÓSITO.

Awards: 3 Mp3 water.

To celebrate this year's competition XXIV, the City has had the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the Directorate General of Traffic, and the following companies and organizations: Murtrafic, Párraga Appliances, Photographic Laboratory Leo , Educational Material Azarbe, Graphic Arts Novograf, Cajamar Foundation, Perfume Marvimundo, Motomur, Social and Cultural CajaMurcia and El Corte Ingles.
