The board of St. James neighborhood has unanimously approved a motion that includes, at the request of IU-Greens, a foothold neighbors explicit arrested by the National Police in concentration in defense of the tracks held on April 2.
The initiative, which was presented by IU-Greens and PSOE, urged the plenary to condemn the "policy of repression" undertaken by the delegation of the Government against Prosoterramiento Platform and neighbors who move peacefully in the southern suburbs of the city.
According to a member of the left formation in Santiago el Mayor, Pedro Fernandez, the House reached a consensus motion in which IU-Greens introduced a point to give their support to neighbors who were arrested.
Fernandez has also criticized the PP desoyera neighbors and refused to condemn the police action and the imposition of fines.
This motion is being presented in the Neighborhood of the affected neighborhoods like El Carmen, San Pio or The Polygon Infante Don Juan Manuel.
